Today is my off day and im nursing my hangover at home
Had a great time with all the darters last night

I went Zirca for a while after i knocked off

Then we went over to Black and White at Club Soul
We flooded like half of the place
Darters from Chamber 82, Phoenix Bar and Titans

I was busy like a bee

We had a booth at Expo's Mega Flea Market for 3 days
Had a great time stuffing myself with food
and adding cheap new clothes to my wardrobe

And a gift for my precious sister on her birthday

Wanted to update previously
but i don't know what to share

Went for "The Smurfs" last Saturday at Cineleisure
Funny and quite a family show
I rate 4/5 for the blue lil' things

I just started a new job and hope that things can last

but at least they don't require background check
So hope i can settle down as soon as possible

Sick Bug

Helloooooooo!

I've been sick since Monday
Without any warning
I.JUST.WOKE.UP.SICK
Down with fever, sore throat and flu
Popping panadols like sweets
Till now i'm still coughing like a mad

But i still went for our away game at TCSS
After that i went Titanium to join the girls
because they simply say
"WE DON'T CARE YOU HAVE TO COME"
Its either i'm really old or i'm really sick
I did not really drink that night
I did not even join the camwhore session
Because I was wearing my dart jersey and minimum makeup
I went home alone around 3 plus after "showing face"

I was hiding one corner when they went for few rounds of these

Then the following day
We had game again at Chamber
and we lost badly
REALLY BAD

Anyway I've been staying at home since Tuesday
Very very sick
Not much appetite
But because of my stubborn character
I ate these today
BLACK PEPPER CRABS

Well my new year's eve was dinner at MBS's foodcourt
Hahaha

Its because we got tickets for The Pointer Sisters concert

After the performance at 11.30pm
Had a puff and off we went to count down for the fireworks at 12 midnight

No parties, no drunk, no mao
After the fireworks
I spend the whole night in the adult's arcade watching them play
Concussed right after i reached home at about 7 plus in the morning
God damn tired and i slept my whole first day of 2011 away
It was already 2nd Jan when i wake up
Christmas is over, New year is also over
Its gonna be Chinese New Year in less than a month's time
and i'm still fat and getting fatter

So on 31st Oct which is a sunday
We asked him out for dinner at Central
then we headed to Marina Square for movie

Although its been years i had this blog
Like since year 2004
But can you imagine this is only my 300th post

When GG saw me that day
She asked me to blog some happy post rather than all those emo ones

I went home and stack my pillow high

On 9th April's morning

The journey to Yishun at 8am was terrible
The sun was glaring but my vision was blur
First time in my life I wished the jam on road can stay forever
Reached at 9am and registrations done

Two and a half hours of wait and torture
It's finally time to go in

We had our 8th trios finals on the 19th and 20th December at iluma
Even though we won the Group Champion but because we couldn't perform that day
we didn't manage to win the League Champion
Wasted but we tried our best already

Short Update:

1) We were so lucky that we won all our games till date :)
5 more to go then finals here we come!

2) My precious pepper is sick. I have absolutely no idea what happened to him
But vet did an x-ray for him and suspected that he might have dislocate his front left leg
He is so restless everyday and he's not a single bit excited when we feed him his favourite treat
He's on medication now and have to monitor him till next monday
Hope everything will be fine

3) My cousin getting married today
She's only 23 years old i think
Dinner at Raffles Hotel tonight and i haven't even decide what to wear

The Warrior

Working alone is not easy especially its crazy
I'm like a warrior who survived from the weekend war

Xiu was on mc on saturday night and off last night
Jaycee and gang came on saturday night and stayed till morning 7 plus and i went home shagged out
but still got to wake up at 2 plus yesterday to get a birthday cake for No clue "mummy" because she's celebrating her birthday
The party started at 4pm and when all the guests swamped in in the evening
I can't even find time to the loo let alone smoke breaks
so can you imagine?

The party ended with 3 bottles of Black label, 1 bottle of stolichnaya, 9 towers of beer, heineken, some coke and quite a bit of food
Oh and of course, it left me a super messy place to clear

Lucky enough i survived the ordeal and was home at around 1 plus
Being able to rest in my air-conditioned room, on my pink cartoon bed after a hot shower, putting on my cooling collagen mask
This is heaven

Woke up with sore throat and aching legs today
I can feel the thousands needles-pricked feeling under my soles when i struggled my way to the bathroom
I think i'm really getting old

Worst of all,
I think i'm falling sick soon, very soon
and i still have home game against Clue-Lass from No Clue tonight at 8pm
I wonder if i can even stand properly on the line and have the strength to throw my darts

Am going to grab a bite now and rest a bit before going down for warming up

Hellooooo How's everybody's weekend?

Had been spending time in the chalet for the past two nights

Its friday and have you plan for your weekend yet?

Oh well
I got a birthday chalet to attend tonight and my ah gong's birthday celebration tomorrow
It'll be buffet dinner at ah gong's house because he was discharged from the hospital not long ago
So its better not to let him move around too much
He is getter older and I am so worried
Therefore I am so going to take alot of pictures with my precious ah gong tomorrow

On a separate note,
I was clearing my picture folders in my lappy and realised I got tons of overdued pictures
I know I was supposed to post them up but by the time I remember
It'll be months later and you know how lazy I am laaaaa

Struggling very hard to stay alive and she's very worried
Watching her cry in front of me was slightly uncomfortable

Then she called last night and broke the news to me

Even though I had never see her dog before but it hit me

Early life
Growing up, Carangi had a tempestuous childhood. Those who knew her blamed her "fractured childhood" for the instability and drug-dependence that stilted her adult life. She was described as "needy and manipulative" by relatives who recalled her as spoiled and shy as a child and a "Mommy’s girl" who did not receive as much of her mother's attention as she wanted.

In her teens, Carangi found the attention she sought; the attention came from other teenage girls. At 13, Carangi would send girls flowers and they would develop crushes on her no matter their sexual orientation.

In high school, Carangi bonded with "the Bowie kids" – a group of obsessive David Bowie fans, like herself. They emulated the star's "defiantly weird, high-glam" style. Carangi was not only drawn to Bowie due to his fashion preferences but also due to his ambiguous gender play and outspoken bisexuality. A friend of Carangi's described her "tomboy persona" and relaxed openness about her sexuality as reminiscent of the character Cay in the 1985 film Desert Hearts.

Carangi and her "bi-try Bowie-mad" friends hung out in Philadelphia’s gay clubs and bars. Carangi was beginning to settle into a lesbian identity, but did not want to take up "the accepted lesbian style".

Rise
Carangi was known in modeling circles just by her first name. After being featured in Philadelphia newspaper ads, Carangi moved to New York City at the age of 17, where she quickly rose to prominence. She was a favorite model of various fashion photographers, including Francesco Scavullo, Arthur Elgort, Richard Avedon, and Chris von Wangenheim.

Well-integrated within the fashion world, Carangi had the selection of several photographers, most notably Scavullo. By the end of 1978, Carangi was already a well-established model. In a 20/20 interview, she said her rise was "awfully" fast: "I started working with well-known people in the industry, very quickly. I didn't build into a model. I just sort of became one."

Carangi was a regular at Studio 54 and the Mudd Club. Carangi usually used cocaine in clubs but later began to develop a heroin addiction.

In October 1978, Carangi did her first major shoot with top fashion photographer Chris von Wangenheim. Wangenheim had her pose nude behind a chain-link fence with makeup assistant Sandy Linter. Carangi immediately became infatuated with Linter and started to pursue her, though the relationship never became stable.

Fall
On March 1, 1980, Carangi's agent, Wilhelmina Cooper, died of lung cancer. Devastated, Carangi started abusing drugs. Scavullo recalled a fashion shoot in the Caribbean when "She was crying, she couldn't find her drugs. I literally had to lay her down on her bed until she fell asleep."[cite this quote]By 1980, Carangi began having violent temper tantrums, walking out of photo shoots, and even falling asleep in front of the camera. In the November 1980 issue of Vogue, Carangi's track marks from shooting heroin were visible even after airbrushing. For three weeks, she was signed with Eileen Ford, who soon dropped her.

Her attempt to quit drugs was shattered when she learned that her good friend and fashion photographer Chris von Wangenheim died in a car accident. According to the Stephen Fried book, Thing of Beauty, Carangi locked herself in a bathroom for hours, shooting heroin. In the fall of 1981, she looked far different from the top model she once had been. However, she was still determined to make a comeback in the fashion industry. She contacted Monique Pillard (who was largely responsible for Janice Dickinson's career), who was hesitant to sign her.

In rehab, she told staff that she had done sexual favors for drug money and had been raped by a dealer.

Once heavily pursuing modeling again, she received the harsh treatment she skipped last time. Nobody would book her. Desperate, she turned to Scavullo. She landed a Cosmopolitan cover, a gift from Scavullo. Shot in the winter of 1982, it would be her last cover.

Death
Carangi was diagnosed with AIDS, then a newly recognized disease. As her condition worsened, she was transferred to Philadelphia's Hahnemann University Hospital. Her mother stayed with her day and night, allowing virtually no visitors.

On November 18, 1986 at 10 a.m., Carangi died of AIDS-related complications. She was 26 years old.

Her closed-casket funeral (recommended by the funeral director due to the ravages of AIDS) was held on November 21 at a small funeral home in Philadelphia. Nobody from the fashion world attended. However, weeks later, Scavullo sent a Mass card when he heard the news.

Aftermath and legacy
A biography of Carangi by Stephen Fried called Thing of Beauty (a title omitting the second half of John Keats' famous quote "A thing of beauty is a joy forever") was published in 1993. A biographical film, Gia, debuted on HBO in 1998. Angelina Jolie starred in the title role, garnering a Golden Globe award for the role.

In 1996, actress-screenwriter Zoë Tamerlis, herself a heroin addict who died of drug-related causes in 1999, was commissioned to write a screenplay based upon Carangi's life. This version of Gia was not produced, but after Tamerlis' death, footage of Carangi, Tamerlis, photographers, Carangi's family, and Sandy Linter discussing her life was incorporated into a 2003 documentary entitled The Self-Destruction of Gia.

Carangi's sexual orientation has been disputed; LGBT outlets label her lesbian, and other times as bisexual due to her sexual relationships with men. In the film Gia, Jolie also portrayed her as being sexually intimate with men and women.

Since Carangi's death, she has been considered a lesbian supermodel and icon and is said to have epitomized "lesbian chic" more than a decade before the term was coined.

I always hear people saying that usually the one you marry might not be the one you love most
How true?

Was smoking and staring at my ceiling and i have no idea how my thoughts went wild abit when i see smoke disappearing into the thin thin air

People says that women are all sinners
That is why women have to go through cramps every month since puberty and not forgetting pregnancy
I think i must be a superduperwickedbadwoman in my previous life because my cramps now is killing me

Anyway colleague is away since last saturday for holiday at Turkey and i'm stucked in Singapore to cover her duties

Life seems to be more boring than ever and that explains my lack of posts
Sleep, Work, Drink
I'm turning into some zombie or something
As if i'm living in the world all by myself
No love and no friends
Well, I don't need friendships that hurts anyway

I guess anybody who drink knows how alocohol works
Like a drug, it can send you to heaven spinning and at the same time it can crash you down in hell

Alochol have the ability to control one's emotions and actions
It numbs your sense of feel and lower your tolerance

It comes with it's best friend, Hangover when you wake up

Have you wonder why girls like to watch korea or even taiwan dramas?
And they'll cry like as if they were the female lead in the story
I was watching this taiwan drama "Bull Fighting" and i think its quite hard to find anyone who will treat you as nice as how the male lead will treat the female lead
In stories, we see fairytales and unconditional love
In reality, we see breakups everywhere and your love getting attached with someone you know

Sad but true

There are people who can remove their baggage of love and move on in a very short period of time but there are also people who can't remove their baggage of love on their shoulders no matter how hard they try
It's like a responsible which developed into their soft spot
You wouldn't want your love to be left alone at anytime, you just want them to be happy irregardless who's the person walking beside her

People says "Diamonds are forever"

I have no idea if i have nothing much to blog or i simply got too much to say

Have anybody ever wonder why do humans exist?
Is to start schooling at 5 and slog through our life and die with only paper house and 2 paper maids
With more and more burdens and liabilities which makes people breathless
Its like a cycle
Your parents sent you to school, pay for everything then you work and feed yourself and eventually you pay for everything when your parents gets older
Most of the humans on earth lead this kind of life, no?
